The five year old that freaks me out
Wednesday, August 24th, 2005It’s 4:37 in the morning and I am on my lunchbreak. You heard me right. I work at nights and I sleep during the day. It’s been 2 weeks of shifting internal time zones and I’m getting by so far. I had baked potatoes with cream cheese. I just had a thai full body massage yesterday and my neck and shoulders are strained again. Haay, that’s life for me right now.
What else? Hmm, It’s almost 2 months since I left the nest and now I’m staying in Pasig. I love everything about it. I live near everywhere else. I just don’t like the bathroom in our house right now (the flush is broken, get the point?) and the fact that the 5 year old daughter of the caretaker spies on me every time she gets. I’d get so paranoid now that I look over my shoulders whenever I go up the stairs to see if she’s checking me out. Can you imagine that? This big girl getting freaked out by a five year old kid. One time I caught her hiding behind the bushes to stare at me while I locked the door and then she ran as i went past the gate. I walked as fast as I could away from her and the house. How do I tell her to stop doing what she’s doing? It’s bugging me a great deal right now. I told my mom about it and first thing she asked me was: "Is she cute?". I said, "No". Kaya pala… I usually like being around kids whether they’re cute or not. I did try to be friendly with this kid but she doesn’t reply whenever I try talking to her. But when she doesn’t see me, I hear her chattering (parang ibon, diba?) and laughing all over the house. How come she doesn’t do that to others? Weird talaga ng batang ito. I think her name’s Chu Chu or something. Name pa lang, weird na. :p
By the way, it’s not the little girl with me in the pic, ok? That’s Toko.
